Following the landslide in the Maurienne at the end of August 2023, rail traffic between Modane and Saint-Michel-Valloire was interrupted in both directions. But good news: since March 31, 2025, the Paris-Milan link, operated by SNCF Voyageurs via TGV Inoui and Trenitalia via Frecciarossa, has been back in service!
