❗ News TGV INOUI x Frecciarossa France-Italy: reopening on March 31, 2025❗

Following the landslide in the Maurienne on August 27, 2023, rail traffic between Modane and Saint-Michel-Valloire was interrupted in both directions. For direct journeys between France and Italy, part of the journey is now made by bus between Saint-Jean de Maurienne and Oulx. But the good news is that the link Paris-Milan, operated by SNCF Voyageurs via TGV Inoui and Trenitalia via Frecciarossa, will reopen on March 31, 2025!

In 6h30 to 7h, you can get to Milan from Paris, via Lyon, Chambéry, Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne (served at weekends since December 2024), Modane, Oulx and Turin thanks to the 2 daily round trips.

In practice, you'll be able to find tickets from €29 in second class!
